International Trader – Damaco Foods Poland

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an International Trader (Frozen Food) to join our growing team based in Warsaw, Poland.

As an International Trader, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with major food importers, food service/retail, and meat processing sector clients in the territory.

You will analyse and quantify key market opportunities, identify sales targets, build client communities, and implement sales plans to promote and sell Damaco Group products to new and existing customers.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing sales opportunities, understanding client's business needs, and promoting Damaco Foods proposition to meet those needs.

Your role will involve making sales visits, delivering sales excellence by managing every step of the key account sales process to a successful conclusion.

Profile

• Engage target accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Damaco Foods products and their application in the food industry.
• Strong communication skills to prepare proposals and deliver effective presentations to clients.
• Ability to ask effective questions to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and identify upselling opportunities.
• Accurately summarize customer needs, promote value and trust over price, and close sales.
• Handle customer objections, using knowledge and experience to address concerns.
• Ability to plan for short-term (1-3 months) and medium-term (6 months) to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure that the area of responsibility performs according to plan and identify and propose changes/solutions to increase targeted results.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Strong entrepreneurial instincts combined with resilience and perseverance.
• Clear understanding of modern sales techniques and the ability to apply them.
• Experience working in a KPI-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel within the area for business trips.
• A strong team player who can collaborate in a global matrix organization with colleagues and stakeholders in other regions and countries.

Required knowledge, experience, and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or proven sales experience within the food sector.
• A natural presenter with persuasive presentation skills.
• Proactively contribute to print media opportunities to increase visibility and profile.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of significantly exceeding goals and expectations.
• Proven ability to close business-to-business sales and win new customers.
• Ability to develop relationships at the executive level and engage with customers to understand their business needs and how Damaco Foods can become their preferred business partner.
• Capable of planning, communicating, and executing strategic sales plans to drive business growth.
• Natural self-starter and self-motivated, adaptable to work with minimal supervision.
